The remains of late Sylvanus Onyeneke Oparaji, father of the immediate past President of the Imo State University IMSU, Owerri, Chapter of Law Students Association LAWSA will be buried in his country home at Umuzo Oboama Nguru in Aboh Mbaise Local Government Area of Imo State, tomorrow Friday, August 20, 2021.He was aged 69 years.
A release signed by the LAWSA ex- president, Comrade Chinonso Oparaji on behalf of the family which copy was made available to WEEKEND NIGERIA WATCHDOG indicates that there will be a Requiem Mass at Holy Ghost Catholic Church, Oboama, Nguru, Aboh Mbaise by 10am on Friday August 20.Interment follows immediately after mass at his country home.
A thanksgiving service will hold at Holy Ghost Catholic Church Oboama, Nguru on Sunday, August 22nd 2021.
Earlier, a vigil mass was held in his honour at St Peters Catholic Church Special Jurisdiction, Works layout, Owerri at 5pm on Thursday August 12, 2021.
