The Imo State Chapter of Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ on Saturday 24th of July embarked on a road walk show tagged ”Imo Journalists Hangout/Road walk” to exhibit the importance of physical fitness.
The Media Personalities ably led by the chairman of the union, Comrade Precious Nwadike came out in mass, accompanied by the officers from Federal Road Safety Corporation, FRSC, Imo State Command.
The road walk kicked off at the Union’s Secretariat at Port Harcourt road, Owerri with the members dressed in their sporting attires matched up to Government House Round about and back to the Union’s Secretariat, singing solidarity song to the pleasure of onlookers and to the fulfilment of the members.
However, the frenzy exercise was rapped up with the entertainment and refreshment of members after retirement at the Press Center where they ate food and drank to their satisfaction.
