The former Speaker of Imo state House of Assembly and former member representing Ehime Mbano state constituency in Imo State House of Assembly Rt. Hon Lawman Duruji has congratulated the immediate past governor of Imo state and former Deputy Speaker, House of Representatives Rt. Hon Emeka Ihedioha, CON on his birthday.
Duruji who expressed his warm and hearty message in a release he signed noted that Ihedioha proved himself as an exemplary leader who places priority on welfare of the people and due process.
According to him, the former Governor has from all indications lived up to expectation to the admiration of all and sundry including the pessimists who saw the difference during his shortlived tenure and today, earnestly yearn for his return to power.
He prayed God to continue to preserve Ihedioha and grant him his heart desires, adding that such leaders are rare to find, hence the reason Imolites across party lines wish him well. He also urged PDP faithful led by Engr. Charles Ugwu to remain focused and continue the struggle to reclaim the truncated mandate freely given to Ihedioha by Imo people.
