Death has been announced of Mrs Cyrina Njoku Obi, the mother of the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of Imo State University,Owerri who died after a brief illness. She was 85 years old.
According to a funeral programme issued by the family,the remains of the deceased Mrs Cyrina Njoku-Obi (Nee Eguzoribe) will be interred at Njoku-Obi’s Compound at Umubolonu Owalla-Uratta, Owerri North LGA of Imo State by 12.30pm on December 3.
The programme also indicates that the body will depart the Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Owerri mortuary by 8.30am for a flag stop at Ihitta-Ogada Emekuku Owerri North LGA before proceeding to Okenze Njoku Obi residence at Owalla-Uratta for lying in state by 9-10.30am.
Thereafter, the body will depart for Holy Family Catholic Church Orie-Uratta for a requiem mass before the interment at noon.
