In their bid to continue to provide options and quality service to their teeming customers, the Dana airline, operators of Imo Air has finally opened an ultra modern booking and administrative office at Concord Hotel, Owerri, the Imo state capital.
During the flag off ceremony, which took place recently the Imo state Governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha represented by his Special Assistant (Technical and Air Operations Matters), Hon. Barrister Ikenna Emeh, also a former member of the Imo House of Assembly for Isu state constituency, thanked the state Governor and Dana Air management for such a laudable gesture to ensure that Imo people benefit from such project.
According to him, the new outlet would surely serve Imolites, mostly the air travelers better. He then called on Imolites to patronize and support Dana airline through its patronage.
In his address at the occasion, the Head Ground Operations Dana airline, Mr. Ememobong Ettete said the board and management of the company are very happy to deliver the booking outlet based on the demand of Imo people who have been finding it difficult to book online from the comfort of their homes.
He maintained that the gesture came as a result of the positive feedback from their teeming customers and guests who have been making demands for a booking outlet in Owerri, Imo state. He stated that the new office at the new Concord Hotel Owerri is more like an answered prayer” towards ensuring that reservations, booking, reschedule of tickets and other forms of enquiries are made easily without hitches. He opined that more of such outlets would be opened in the future to ensure that Imolites get smooth and access to the airline to enable them travel around the country and beyond.
Speaking further, Ememobong stated that, very soon, soonest the Airline will make available its operations directly from Imo state to Abuja and Lagos at affordable cost as Imo state has remained their major business zone.
He also pointed out that as part of its corporate social responsibility, Dana air has chosen to sponsor Heartland Football Club Owerri as part of its broad based commitment towards supporting the team’s 2018 NPFL campaign and sports development in the state.
