– Claim mother of all APC structure
A new political pressure group in Imo State, under the aegis of “Buhari Agenda 2019” has lauded the efforts of Governor Owelle Rochas Okorocha at transforming the state capital Owerri and constructing road and providing other infrastructures in the rural areas. The group led by Hon. Isaiah Chinedu Ezeogu, alias Igweoku, stated this when they paid a courtesy call on the Governor Owelle Rochas Okorocha, last Tuesday January 9, 2018 at this Ogboko home.
Made up of staunch APC stalwarts and other seasoned politicians from the 27 LGAs of Imo State, the group at the occasion of the visit commended Governor Rochas Okorocha for doing very well on the free education programme at IMSU and IMOPOLY. They scored the Governor very high on his achievements and performances.
Speaking further, the chairman of the group, Igweoku, urged the governor not to relent or be distracted by the opposition who he said, could not have done what the Governor has done and achieved so far.
While pledging their unalloyed support and loyalty to the Rescue Mission Administration, and the Okorocha’s continuity project, Hon. Ezeogu who is an Orlu LGA born business magnet, vowed to mobilize the entire Imolites towards realizing Okorocha continuity agenda and equally return President Muhammadu Buhari in 2019”.
Responding to the commendations, a visibly excited and elated Governor appreciated the members of the Buhari support group, adding that he is impressed that they possess the capacity to mobilize support for 2019. Okorocha also recalled that Ezeogu, popularly called Igweoku had done that much in 2015 when he was the CGC coordinator in Imo state and promised to support his group.
Okorocha at the occasion, enlisted into the “Buhari agenda 2019 group saying in 2019, there won’t be imposition of candidates but the wish of the electorates will certainly prevail.
Earlier Dr. Hilary Eke who is the state chairman of APC, had introduced the leaders and officials of the Buhari Agenda 2019 confirming them as an APC group that has been working underground to ensure the re-election bid of President Muhammadu Buhari in 2019. The meeting had in attendance over 500 members comprising ward and LGA executives and state executives committee officers, of the Buhari Agenda 2019.
