Says:Uzodinma Won’t Succumb To Pressure
The Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Special Mobilization, Okigwe zone, Hon. Engr. Chima Akuzie has said that Governor Hope Uzodimma will not succumb to pressure ahead of the APC senatorial primary election, expressing optimism that the governor will insist on the right candidate.
Addressing journalists in Owerri, the State Capital, yesterday,Akuzie said that Governor Uzodimma understands that Okigwe zone people are looking up to him to give them a senator that will complement his efforts in the zone.
The Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Special Mobilization, Okigwe zone assured Uzodimma that his foot soldiers in the zone will resist every attempt by persons or individual who are working against the Governor in the zone.
The vibrant politician maintained that he will do everything within his reach and powers to ensure that the dreams and vision of the Governor for Okigwe zone would be actualized.
According to him, ” Governor Uzodimma should bank on the full support of all the appointees in the zone, saying that the people of the zone are going to give the Governor maximum support to succeed.”
The Isiala Mbano born political tactician says that the Governor Uzodimma knows that Okigwe zone is a peculiar zone in Imo state that needs a vibrant and experienced person that will work in synergy with the Governor to develop the zone under APC party.
Akuzie called on all the aspirants to understand that they are all qualified to represent Okigwe zone at the Red chamber of the national Assembly but want them to bear at the back of their minds that election is not a do or die affair.
