-Lauds Uzodinma’s achievement
The Orlu Zonal Coordinator of APC Ambassadors, Hon Okorie Magnus, has taken the Governor of Edo State, His Excellency, Godwin Obaseki to the cleaners for warning the National Chairman of APC, Chief Adams Oshiomhole to stay away from the party’s governorship primaries, slated for November 2020.
Okorie, a renowned Political Scientist and Administrator, in a chat with journalists, wondered why Governor Obaseki is exhibiting such ingratitude by insulting and denigrating a man who brought him from obscurity and made it possible for him to be governor of Edo State inspite of all odds.
According to Hon Okorie, “Obaseki was a political nonentity who lacked visibility before Chief Oshiomhole picked, nurtured and invested in his governorship ambition which became a reality. He advised Governor Obaseki to start packing his baggage because he will under no circumstance retain his seat as Governor of Edo State after the forth coming election.
Hon Okorie also praised the Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodinma for his excellent performance since assumption of office and urged him to ignore and disregard the antics of disgruntled elements who intend to distract him from the onerous task of taking Imo State to the next level of socio-economic and infrastructural development.
Speaking further,Hon Okorie commended governor Uzodinma and Imo State House of Assembly for repealing the law that provided for pension for ex-governors,speakers and their deputies. He described the move as people oriented, aimed at saving cost of governance.
