Hon (Barr) Dominic Ugochukwu Ezerioha, Member Representing Oru West in the Imo State House of Assembly and House Committee Chairman on Information had over the weekend, in Oru West LGA shared palliatives to physically challenged persons in his constituency.
Speaking to our reporter at the occasion, the lawmaker who also doled out cash in addition to food items to the physically challenged, promised to make the exercise a routine.
He stated that he is appreciative of the fact that the physically challenged in the area have been compliant with directives by the government of Imo State to prevent the spread of the disease in Imo State such as social distancing, washing of hands with soap and running water, wearing of mouth and nose masks etc.
He also prayed God to continue to protect them assuring that he will make his interventionist measure regular and willing to support them any time they beckon on him.
Some of the beneficiaries who spoke to Community Watchdog at the end of the exercise commended the lawmaker for his good gesture and for singling them out for special treatment. They implored God to grant him good health and wisdom to continue to render selfless services to humanity.
