A political pressure group under the aegis of “Conference of Young Imo Political Parties Candidates (COYIPAC) has conveyed a message of solidarity and congratulations to the Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodinma on his victory at the apex court and successful inauguration as the Governor of Imo State, while also commending him for his choice of political appointees mostly people of youthful age.
In the message issued on Monday, March 30, 2020, at Owerri and endorsed by the Chairman of the Organization, Engineer Ugochukwu Augustine Okoro, the Organization expressed its unalloyed support and loyalty to the Governor and his developmental plans and policies.
The group observed that with the caliber of persons he has so far appointed into his cabinet and given their qualifications and pedigree, Uzodinma has proven that he is on the right track for the overall growth and development of Imo State.
The group contended that the appointment of Professor B.T.O Ikegwuoha, Engr Innocent Ikpemezie and High Chief Canicemoore Nwachukwu into his cabinet is a clear indication that he has the interest of Imo youths at hearts.
The group whose membership spans across the 27 local government areas including those of them in the Imo House of Assembly whose ages are below 45 years pledged to be loyal and to continually give maximum support to the present administration.
