The President of the Rural Development Foundation Scheme, Elder (Dr) George O. Ibeatuche (JP) will organize a one day Rural Development Seminar on Friday 10th November this year at the Villa Mariae Hall, No. 160 Wetheral Road Owerri in Imo State by 11:00am.
Briefing newsmen on this proposed event, Elder (Dr) George O. Ibeatuche (JP) disclosed that this ceremony will be Chairmaned by the President of the Cooperative Federation of Imo State, Rev. G. M. Samuel while the Traditional Ruler of Nekede Autonomous Community, His Royal Highness, Eze (Dr) Stephen Kemjika Agumanu IV, Ede II of Nekede Ancient Kingdom, will be the Royal Father of this event. He further disclosed that a renowned preacher of the gospel of our LORD JESUS CHRIST based in Edo State, Bishop Peter Osynachukwu will be the Guest Speaker for this event.
Elder (Dr) George Ibeatuche (JP) who is also a pensioner revealed that God has given him the vision to organize this event which will enable his Rural Development Foundation to generate more funds to enhance the welfare of jobless school leavers, indigent widows, aged pensioners, physically disabled persons, homeless destitute and other less privileged persons in our society. He remarked that his Foundation had in the past funded seminars during which official representatives of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Raysida International and National Directorate of Employment delivered lectures focused on sustaining the progressive future of jobless rural based youths and indigent widows through viable Cooperative Societies, Skill Acquisition Schemes and mechanized productive agriculture.
Elder (Dr) George O. Ibeatuche (JP) also disclosed that he had used the good services of his Foundation to attract a Micro-Finance Bank Limited in Imo State which gave credit facilities to several indigent widows and jobless youths in his home in Nekede Autonomous Community. He expressed immense gratitude to the Almighty God who had enabled his Foundation to come in contact with credible official representatives of the Green Nation Global Organization and a Community Development Consultant who will also deliver relevant speeches on boosting massive food production through mechanized agriculture and enhancing the economic growth and development of rural communities to create durable and gainful jobs for numerous unemployed school leavers in our midst.
Elder (Dr) George O. Ibeatuche (JP) further stated that his Rural Development Foundation had already procured a base at Mgbirichi in the Ohaji/Egbema Local Government Area of Imo State in full partnership with a renowned Minister of God to enhance the general welfare of jobless youths and indigent widows through well articulated skill acquisition and viable cooperative programmes. He has therefore pleaded with all those invited to the Rural Development Seminar and other development-oriented individuals and organizations to attend this event as scheduled with their generous financial donations with a view to enable his foundation extend its good services to all the Local Government Areas and rural community of Imo State and even beyond by the special grace of God.
