The Executive Chairman of Orlu Local Government Area, Pastor Chris Mbarie yesterday, April 17 established Committees comprising the Enumeration/Customary Rights of Occupancy and Town Planning Committee.
Mbarie speaking to newsmen at the Orlu headquarters, stated that the initiative aims at ensuring that all streets and properties in Orlu are properly numbered.
He highlighted the major objectives of the committee which include
1. Proper Enumeration which shall guarantee accurate mapping and numbering of all properties, enabling Orlu to be accurately represented on Google Maps.
2.Town Planning which shall enforce building standards, preventing collapses and indiscriminate construction on government-owned properties.
3. Street Naming Committee, who shall facilitate a “know your neighbor” initiative and enhance security.
The Executive Chairman also appointed the following persons as chair persons and members of the committees.

Mbarie further expressed his administration’s commitment to transforming Orlu into a modern and organized city. According to him, by implementing these initiatives, Orlu will become a well-planned and secure area, reflecting the government’s dedication to progress and development.
