The Governor of Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodinma has banned all forms of task force operations in the state.
In a Release signed by I. A Oguzie for the Secretary to Imo State Government, he revealed that the ban was necessitated by incessant activities of the task force operatives which have immeasurably constituted nuisance to the public as well as damaged the image of the government.
Imo State Government is hereby warning any body or group of persons operating as task force under any guise to stop forthwith or risk being apprehended by security operatives who will ensure they are brought to book.
