– Makes Case For Prolife World
The Global Prolife Alliance GPA, has congratulated President Donald Trump on his emergence as the 47th President of the United States of America.
The Chairman of Global Prolife Alliance, Prince Dr Philip Njemanze, in the a press release dated January, 25, 2025, said, “The Global Prolife Alliance (GPA) extends its heartfelt congratulations to President Donald J. Trump on assuming office as the 47th President of the United States. The world stands at a critical juncture, influenced by the pervasive impacts of what we refer to as the “Culture of Death.” According to the World Health Organization (WHO), approximately 73 million unborn children were lost to abortion in 2023. Alarmingly, abortion remains the leading cause of human mortality globally, surpassing infectious diseases (12.9 million), cancer (8.2 million), smoking (4.9 million), alcohol abuse (2.4 million), HIV/AIDS (1.6 million), traffic accidents (1.3 million), and suicide (over 1 million).
To contextualize, the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum estimates that the Nazi crimes against humanity claimed 18 million lives. In comparison, abortion claims a significantly higher number of lives each year, underscoring an urgent need for action. The United States, having historically led the international coalition against Nazism, is now uniquely positioned to lead a global movement against the “Culture of Death,” fostering a world characterized by life, peace, and prosperity”.
The group proposed a comprehensive framework consisting of the policy steps designed to eradicate the prevalence of abortion and flagrant use of contraceptives thereby repositioning the world from a culture of death to a culture of life.
The 10 policy steps towards a prolife world according to Dr Njemanze, include, “Recognition of Life from Conception to Natural Death:
Life must be universally acknowledged as a fundamental human right, protected by the constitutions of all free democratic states. This principle should form the cornerstone of U.S. foreign policy.
Abrahamic Prolife Treaty:
The United States should initiate a treaty with the major Abrahamic faiths—Judaism, Christianity, and Islam—to unify pro-life messages. This treaty could symbolically be signed by Pope Francis and President Trump during a state visit to the Vatican, followed by similar treaties with leaders of other faiths, such as Buddhism and Hinduism. Adequate U.S. funding should support these initiatives, reallocated from organizations like Planned Parenthood.
Defunding of Abortion-Related Organizations:
Complete cessation of funding to national and international organizations and government agencies that support or facilitate abortion.
Regulation of Tax Status for Pro-Abortion Entities:
No organization involved in funding abortion should enjoy tax-free status within the United States.
Mandatory Warnings on Products:
All food, supplements, pharmaceuticals, and devices that may induce abortion or act as contraceptives must carry clear warnings.
Conditional Foreign Aid and Trade Relations:
U.S. foreign relations must stipulate that no grants, loans, or trade concessions be extended to any entity that violates the right to life through abortion or contraception policies.
Restrictions on Grants for Life-Threatening Products:
No U.S. government grants should be awarded to manufacturers of products that pose risks to life, including certain medicines and vaccines.
Regulation of Media Content”.
The release also stressed the need for mandatory warnings on products.
This, according to the group entails that, “No media outlets, whether conventional or social, should promote content encouraging minors to procure abortion or contraceptive methods.
9. Extradition for Pro-Abortion Activities:
The U.S. should honor extradition treaties with states seeking individuals responsible for promoting or facilitating abortion and contraception, resulting in mass casualties.
10. National Security and Pro-Life Advocacy:
The U.S. government must recognize abortion and contraception as national security threats, advocating for similar positions among its allies. The fact that 20.6% of pregnancies in the U.S. end in abortion constitutes a national emergency.
Your courage and steadfast leadership, even amidst significant challenges, have reaffirmed your pivotal role in guiding the world toward a pro-life future. The Global Prolife Alliance stands firmly in support of your administration’s efforts to champion the sanctity of life. Together, we can lay the foundation for a peaceful, pro-life world. We look forward to collaborating with your administration on these critical initiatives.
