-Unveils New Book “Beaten Not Battered”
Elizabeth Udo Kalu, Founder of SWOT Initiative, marked a significant milestone on her 50th birthday, celebrating with the launch of her new book, “Beaten Not Battered.”
Speaking at the book launch in Owerri, Imo State, Kalu expressed her gratitude to God for reaching the half-century mark. She took the opportunity to encourage women and girls to remain resilient and independent, regardless of their circumstances.
Kalu emphasized the importance of self-empowerment, urging women not to rely solely on their partners. Instead, she encouraged them to acquire skills that would enable them to be financially independent.
“My book, ‘Beaten Not Battered,’ serves as a guide for women seeking success, growth, and self-reliance,” Kalu said. “It is my hope that it will inspire women to strive for independence and never give up on their dreams.”
Kalu’s non-profit organization, SWOT Initiative, focuses on empowering single mothers, widows, orphans, and teenagers. Drawing from her personal experiences, Kalu has dedicated her life to supporting vulnerable women and girls in society.
The book launch and birthday celebration were attended by dignitaries, friends, and family members, who gathered to honor Kalu’s achievements and philanthropic efforts.
