– Cautions Against Undue Interference By Power Brokers
A Chieftain of the All Progressive Congress APC and immediate past lawmaker that represened Ngor Okpala State Constituency in the Imo State House of Assembly, Hon Blyden Amajirionwu has called for the judicious use of Local government funds without undue interference from any quarters.
Hon Amajirionwu who stated this in a post he made in his social media platform cautioned political leaders and stakeholders in Ngor Okpala Local Government Area to resist the urge to interfere in the affairs of the council and how its funds are disbursed to enable the Executive Chairman, Hon Mrs Chika Ibekwe and her team to work for the development of the area.
He noted that any leader whose sole aim is to siphon the Local government funds is working against the collective interest of the people, adding that “all hands should be on deck in offering constructive advice and criticism if when and where necessary with a view to ensuring that the Executive Chairman utilizes the Local Government funds judiciously.
Let ours only be to advise the executive chairman and her team on areas of impactful development not otherwise. Chika and those in her government should succeed hugely. We don’t expect less.”

Chika Ibekwe, the Executive Chairman, to expose those leaders pressuring her to share funds, urging her to prioritize development over personal interests.
