She further challenged them to glorify womanhood by maintaining their dignity and integrity against all odds. She enjoined them to emulate women who have made historic impact politically, socioeconomically, intellectually and otherwise, stressing on the need to make a proper choice of career, friends, mentors and role models as they graduate from one level to another.

The climax of the event was the lecture on puberty, menstruation, ovulation, menstrual hygiene, good diet and positive attitude which was followed by the distribution of a handbook titled “Puberty: The Girl Child Experience” written by the founder, a book which answers many questions on the minds of teenage girls, reveals facts about the challenges faced before, during and after menstruation and equip them with the necessary knowledge on how best to take proper care of themselves, bask on their feminity and appreciate womanhood.
