Justy Foods and Confectionaries Ltd with headquarters at No 20 Abiodun Shobanjo Crescent, Agidingbi, Ikeja, Lagos and factory at Ajugba village, Ishi Ubommiri, has recorded another monumental achievement with the production of Omimi Garri that contains 35 minerals and vitamins that are vital for healthy living.
The product which many who have used it describe as a nutritional wonder is produced from high quality processed organic cassava and added vitamins and minerals that are very effective for the nutritional well being of children, mothers, the elderly and invalid.
The Group Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Justy Foods and Confectionaries Ltd, His Royal Highness, Eze Emma Saint George Ekeh, the Traditional of Ubomiri autonomous community, in Mbaitoli Local Government Area of Imo State, an accomplished farmer, industrialist, entrepreneur and employer of labour, whose younger brother, Chief Leo Stan Ekeh of Zinox Computers Ltd, is also an international businessman, while addressing newsmen in his palace shortly after the federal government’s endorsement of the product and issuance of a nutrition code recently, said, “Omimi garri is a product of extensive research conducted by through bred nutritional experts. The product is aimed at helping people to cushion the effects of the harsh economic realities that have drastically reduced the purchasing power of Nigerians. This, has resulted in the lack or complete absence of essential minerals and vitamins in their daily food intake, culminating in the preventable upsurge of different kinds of ailments, and attendant increased high mortality rate”.
“Eze Emma Saint George Eke, who pioneered the production of what is now popularly known as pure water in Nigeria today, as far back as 1987, said, “Justy Foods and Confectionaries Ltd that has well equipped state of the art laboratories in 3 different continents, came up with Omimi Garri that, has been christened a wonder food as our contribution towards helping Nigerians feed properly, in the midst of the biting economic down turn. “The product is a complete food that provides the complete protein and vitamin requirements for children of school age and is also a rich source of iron, calcium, folic acid, and colostrums for pregnant women and babies.
