In a bid to develop an effective learning system for both secondary and primary schools, two brilliant sons of the state, Chinedu Chimezie Mendel and John Ihejieto, have launched their already innovated academic learning device in Owerri, the Imo state capital.

The launched device, ‘Classmigo’, according to the two innovators, was developed to make learning easy and reduce the difficulties usually encountered by students in their regular academic work.

The unveiling of the said academic tool to the public at Rockview Hotel, Owerri, recently, elicited people’s admiration.

In his address, the Chief innovator of the easy academic tool, Mendel, submitted that he was inspired to delve into such a discovery because of his determination to remove those difficulties that surround students in their learning activities. Mendel stated that the different intelligence Quotient of students exposes them to learn and reason at their own different paces without any difficulty through the use of ‘classmigo’.

He added that with the introduction of ‘Classmigo’, the students are provided with the opportunity of staying at the comfort of their homes to learn without going to the classrooms.

The Chief innovator, also said that they have been into partnership with the Ministry of Education to be in tune with the modern academic curriculum.

In his own submission, the Operating Officer of the application and a co – innovator, John Ihejieto, stressed that their discovery covers all the learning subjects in both secondary and primary Schools and will draw every student to adapt to the device in accordance with his /her learning behaviour.

Ihejieto hinted that the device helps to prevent certain security challenges like kidnapping of students and provides opportunity for parents to monitor the mental and academic capacity of their children and wards, re-emphasizing the ability of the device not to entertain any form of manipulation.

He noted that the application can be downloaded in every Android phone, computers and other social applications.

In her own contribution, the Head of Department, Imo state Ministry of Labour, Employment and Productivity, Mrs. Olivia Ukamaka Umeh, said that the duo should be commended for breaking the barrier of the existing learning stereotype through their recent discovery, asserting that the educational sector as a problem -solving arm is usually dynamic in nature, with a view to addressing  critical human developmental  issues.

Mrs. Umeh added that the educational sector is associated with mental exercise to confront the existing human challenges in the society, reiterating that the discovered tool, ‘Classmigo’, serves to provide an adequate solution to problems that surround learning process for different persons.

Stretching further, Mrs. Umeh said: “we need to do more of academic innovations that will help the educational sector in finding solutions to myriads of challenges facing the people. When a nation encounters a problem, it will be thrown to the academic environment for critical analysis that will end up in finding solutions to those problems. Education brings out the best of every individual and there is need for the academia to collaborate with government for all- round development”.

The highpoint of the event was the official unveiling of the innovated learning tool- Classmigo, with its experimented practical performances.
