Hon Barrr Harrison Nwadike, who was recently affirmed by the Court of Appeal, as the duly elected member, representing Isu, Njaba, Nkwerre, Nwangele (INNN) in the House of Representatives, has promised to offer quality, effective and people-oriented representation that will usher in the dawn of an era of socio-economic and infrastructural development in all the communities that make up the Federal constituency that is said to be the largest in the state, comprising four local government areas.
Nwadike, also called on his political opponents including those with whom he contested the election, to sheath their swords and join hands with him to transform the constituency for the good of all.
The federal lawmaker, who stated in his inaugural speech, also expressed gratitude to the Governor, Senator Hope Uzodinma for his support and encouragement before, during and after the election, uptil his victory at the Appeal Court.
The speech reads thus, “When the final gavel was raised and struck on the INNN representation matter at the Court of Appeal and the learned Counsel on both sides chorused. “As the Court pleases”, a new dawn was birthed.
“Going forward, it is therefore, our time in Isu/Njaba/Nkwerre/Nwangele Federal Constituency to experience a fresh breath of committed and purposeful representation.
“This is a time for all shades of political interests and persuasions to fade into that unique decorous unity, both in purpose and in practice, to reposition and develop the Isu/Njaba/Nkwerre/Nwangele Federal Constituency for the good of all. Democracy, afterall, is people-anchored and all inclusive.
“Now is that appointed time for INNN Federal Constituency to live our dreams. This is the time to prioritize the betterment of public institutions for the direct positive impact on our people, without let.
“All hands should now be on deck to engender the synergy that compels progress and ensures inclusive development of INNN Federal Constituency the only impetus for political participation.
“I am therefore, outstretching my hands for all to join in the development of our Federal Constituency. The olive branch I hold with my outstretched hands and the new aura of inclusivity should accentuate public-spiritedness and engender the gigantic leap we all desire for the good of our Federal Constituency.
“I thank and reverence God Almighty, for His mercies and faithfulness in fulfilling my desire to serve my people by providing me with this platform after many years of trials and misses, most importantly healthy life, and perseverance.
“My sincere appreciation to the people’s governor His Excellency the Executive Governor, Imo state Most Dist. Sen. Hope Uzodimma (ONWA OYOKO). Your kindness and support have touched me in ways that I can’t even find suitable words to express. You have been a constant source of comfort and a shoulder to lean on, and I cannot thank you enough, my Governor. Your unwavering belief in me has given me the strength to keep going, even when things got tough.
