-Arthur Egwim Still Represents Ideato North

The last may not have been heard about the shameful antics and shenanigans of the Imo State House of Assembly, as its official website still flaunts Barr Anyadike Nwosu as Minority leader while former lawmaker for Ideato North State Constituency, Arthur Egwim who was buried long ago among others as member for Ideato North several months after the 9th House.
Ironically,the Website which a House of Assembly source hinted was designed and hosted with huge sum of taxpayers money correctly captured Rt.Hon Chike Olegmbe as the speaker of the house and left out virtually all his colleaques as if their positions are inconsequential or non-existent.
The website also has Barr Okey Onyekanma as member representing Mbaitoli,Okenze Amajirionwu Blyden(Ngor Okpala).
Others who served in the 9th Assembly that still retain their positions are;Hon Uche Ogbuagu for Ikeduru,Paul Emeziem (Onuimo),Ekene F Nnodumele(Orsu),Hon Ngozi Obiefule(Isu),Hon Pascal Okolie(Orlu),Barr Frank Ugboma(Oguta),Solomon Anukam(Owerri Municipal).
A scholar and IMSU lecturer who doesnt want to be mentioned that visited the official website of the Imo state House of Assembly, www.imha.imostate.gov.ng recently,for his academic works confirmed that the Imo Assembly was still yet to effect changes on the Website.
He expressed shock that an institution like Imo state Assembly which should be a source of Information to scholars like him,journalists and Imo people has become a source of misimformatiom.
Imolites who commented on the development which they described as absurd and laughable berated the Speaker for not ensuring that the Webssite is promptly updated to serve Imo people at home and Diaspora, who are still being misinformed and denied access to necessary information as and at when due.
“It is an aberration that the Imo State House of Assembly, as the third arm of government in the state, does not have an updated functional website where those who need comprehensive information about legislative activities, data and procedure can get them, yet billions of naira are allocated to them annually. This tells a lot about the quality of its leadership”.
It was also gathered that the immediate past Speaker of the Assembly, Hon Emeka Nduka, has vehemently refused to vacate his lodge to enable the current Speaker to move in, hence the latter, still lives and operates from outside the Speaker ‘s Lodge.
