The candidate of Labour Party in the just concluded election of House of Representatives in Orlu, Orsu and Oru east constituency, Hon. Geff Ojinika has rejected the ruling of the tribunal court judgement which was delivered yesterday in Nasarawa state.
Ojinika further called on his supporters,particularly from his Federal constituency to remain calm as he won’t allow the enemies work to stand.
Hon. Ojinika who described the ruling as unbelievable signs, insists that the Court remains the last hope of the common man and optimistic that the Appeal Court will do the right thing.
He said,”Ndi Orlu, Orsu and Oru-East Ndi Nwem, do not be afraid, I have briefed my lawyers to prepare immediately and head to Appeal Court. I am sure of getting back my mandate in the Court of Appeal, God will not allow this evil to stand”.
The 2023 election which was marred with a lot of irregularities and fraud was once classified by the civil society Organizations as one of the worse elections so far in the history of democracy in Nigeria.
