Labour Party (LP) leading governorship aspirant for Imo state primaries Major General Lincoln Keonyemere Jack Ogunewe (rtd) has expressed sadness over the recent passage of Barr Humphrey Anumudu in Lagos.
In a statement he issued today and obtained by our reporter, Ogunewe said that, he ”Received with shock the sad news of the transition of one of our brothers Barr Humphrey Anumudu in Lagos.”
”I wish to extend my deepest condolences to his wife, children, family and people he left behind. I am praying that God Almighty would grant them the fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss.”
According to Ogunewe, ”Barr Humphrey Anumudu was a good businessman and his death is a big loss to Imo state people.”
He said that during his consultation visit to critical Imo state stakeholders in Lagos in October 2022, Anumudu received him warmly in his office.
You recall that Anumudu was one of the governorship aspirants in Imo state LP for the forthcoming primaries in April 2023.
