The All Progressives Congress (APC) Candidate for Imo East,Prince Dr Alex Mbata has eulogized Governor Hope Uzodinma on the visible achievements of his administration so far, emphasizing on quality infrastructural development, human capital development and new innovations which are facilitating productivity in the state.
Prince Mbata stated this while interacting with some Imo stakeholders and Media Practitioners in his home, recently.
According to the renowned employer of labour, Governor Uzodinma has changed the narrative and redefined the trajectory of governance in Imo State, hence his immense support and believe in the 3R government.
The Industrialist and philanthropist turned politician also reinstated his desire to enhance infrastructural development in Owerri zone which according to him propelled him to join the race for the Imo East Senatorial Seat, adding that he has done a lot for Owerri zone within his individual capacity and needs the Senatorial position to be able to touch more lives, effect necessary changes and bring more development to Owerri senatorial district.
He canvased for the support of Owerri zone indigenes, assuring them of positive results.
He described himself as an honest, steadfast, trustworthy and transparent man who is sincerely committed to rebuilding Owerri zone if given the mandate.
He promised to accomplish all his agenda for Owerri zone within his four year tenure in office even if it means using his personal resources.
Dr Mbata encouraged well meaning Imolites and lovers of good governance to support Imo State governor to continue his good works of rebuilding Imo and bettering the living standard of the masses.
He debunked the news reports published by some media houses in the state bordering on his tenure as the pro chancellor of Imo State University.
According to him, those reports were sponsored by his detractors who wish to tarnish his good image. He urged media practitioners to always verify any report before publishing it to avoid misleading the public.
