The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and Trade Union Congress (TUC) have pledged to do everything within their legitimate powers to ensure that the Presidential candidate of Labour Party, Peter Obi wins the 2023 presidential election.
The National President of NLC, Comrade Ayuba Wabba and that of the TUC, Quadri Olaleye made the pledge in their separate speeches during the 10th anniversary lecture in honour of the third President of NLC, the late Pascal Bafyau on Tuesday in Abuja, the federal capital territory.
Speaking at the occasion, comprising high profile labour leaders and members, Wabba stated that Peter Obi who is among the finest and well bred Nigerians incidentally, is the first presidential candidate of Labour Party to be accorded recognition by the labour centre.
