-Ex-governor’s wife slapped
The wife of the immediate past governor of Anambra state, Willie Obiano, Ebelechukwu created a scene recently during the formal inauguration of Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo as governor when she suddenly without provocation walked up to wife of late Dim Emeka Ojukwu, Mrs Bianca Ojukwu to confront her on why she graced the occasion.Bianca, not comfortable with how she was confronted slapped Obiano’s wife.
The drama occurred on Thursday March, 18 when Soludo the former Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria was inaugurated as the executive governor of Anambra state for the next four years.
Reports from Awka the Anambra state capital indicated that dignitaries including Ex-Gov Obiano were already seated when Mrs Obiano stepped in and moved to the front row where the widow of Dim Odumegwu Ojukwu was seated.
The action drew the attention of security agents and some personalities who pulled Mrs Obiano off the hold of Bianca who was visibly shocked at the action.
Mrs Obiano was later taken away and shortly afterwards, her husband left the venue since the incident happened after the new governor had been sworn in.
