Penultimate Saturday, the Imo State Governor handed staff of office to the traditional ruler of Alaoma Owerre-Ebeiri , His Royal Highness, Eze Alloysius Igwe, Chinemeze, Eze Oma II of amongst other traditional rulers across the state.
It was a joyous occasion as many traditional rulers elected by their communities who have waited for years also benefited from the magnanimity signing, sealing and delivering their authority as traditional rulers to them.
In Alaoma Owerre-Ebeiri Autonomous community, it signals a new era of traditional leadership, royal reign and good things to come as citizens, friends and well-wisher witnessed the event where their traditional ruler, arrayed in royal splendour got a stamp of his authority as Eze.
This milestone marks a significant chapter in the history of Alaoma Owerre-Ebeiri and in the royal reign of their illustrious son.
It will be recalled that this occasion marked one year that Alaoma people in unison chose him as Eze-Elect. A reflection over the one year according a cross section of our people, reveals he has performed excellently, demonstrating an uncommon wisdom, justice and fairness in his decisions, approach, actions and relationships. They wished him well and prayed that God will be with him as He was with King Solomon.
