Imo Youth resident along the commercial, notable “Obinma Street of Ugwu-Orji Layout near Orji mechanic village of Owerri North LGA, have been charged to be of good conduct and discipline, help the state government and security agencies provide safety in the state by checkmating the usage of hard drugs in any formula.
The Imo State Commissioner for Youths and Talent hunt, Comrade Mandella Izuegbu, issued the directives while inaugurating a new chapter of Obinma Youth Forum at Orji.
The Commissioner contended that the youths being discipline and good conduct, have lot to benefit from government and society at large including good payable jobs and other dividends of democracy.
In his welcome speech address earlier the President of Youth Forum, Comrade Chimereze Junior Ajuogu, highlighted the so many hazards encountered by the resident of Obinma Street in the past two years which include lack of power supply, motorable access road and water appealing to government to come to their rescue as goof citizens of Imo State.
Senator Francis Ezenwa Onyewuchi representing Imo East in the nation who was represented by his Personal Assistant Mr Asiri pledged look into the worrisome case.
While the speaker of Imo State Assembly, Hon Chike Olemgbe who was represented by his Chief of Staff pledged to table the worrisome state of Obinma Street and Ugwu-Orji in general before the house.
Obinma Youth Forum is a scion of the neighborhood of the street where prominent Imolites reside, including the Former Council Chairman of Nwangele now traditional ruler of Isu ancient kingdom, H.R.H Eze (Dr) Sur EFN Akamo and another of Orsu with clergymen and men of the Imo State Security Agencies.
