The member representing Owerri Federal Constituency of Imo State in the Federal House of Representatives, Hon Tochukwu Okere, has reportedly paid the West African Examination Council (WAEC) and the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) examination fees for 274 candidates in his constituency.
This was disclosed by his media withteam in a post on their social media platform yesterday. However, some political pundits who commented on the development said, “if this is actually time and not one of those fairy tales that are aimed at scoring cheap political points, it then means that TOSKA, as fondly called has started changing the narrative of political representation in the state and would reap the reward at the appropriate time”.
