– Urges Detractors To Focus On Meaningful Ventures
The member, representing Ehime Mbano, Obowo, Ihitte Uboma Federal Constituency of Imo state in the Federal House of Representatives, Hon Chike Okafor, has raised alarm over a plot by his detractors to mount a campaign of calumny against him in the media in a bid to rubbish his image rising profile.
A release issued by his media team alleged that some disgruntled and desperate politicians who have lost steam and relevance have recruited some mercenaries to launch media attacks on Hon Okafor who according to them, has performed excellently and given a good account of himself by virtue of his scorecard. “They have decided to delve into print media, having failed woefully in the social media despite all the fallacies they fabricated and dished out to the discerning public”.
“We gathered that the mercenaries have perfected plans to extend their blackmail against Deacon Okafor in some print media outfits in the coming days having failed woefully to get the desired attention in the social media where they have shared all sorts of propaganda and outright fabrications across social media platforms, not only in Okigwe zone,but also in Imo State State and beyond.
Very Competent sources who were hitherto working with them but have now turned away from the obvious foolery have also informed us that these purveyors of falsehood are planning to clone the pictures of Deacon Okafor with some weird colours, which they intend to circulate on social media in other to give correlation to one of their wild and unfounded lies that he belongs to a deadly and dreaded secret cult.
For the purpose of emphasis, Deacon Chike Okafor is not only a firm Christian but also an ordained Minister of the gospel and a known gospel musician who relishes preaching the gospel and singing and worshipping the Almighty God.
He is a believer who will never trade his salvation for earthly things that don’t glorify God.
The general public, including but not limited to the good people of Ehime Mbano, Ihitte Uboma and Obowo Federal Constituency are hereby advised to be mindful of the actions of these desperate and callous politicians who are worried over the giant strides of Deacon Okafor in the House of Representatives, and have vowed to carry out a vexatious campaign of calumny, aimed at tarnishing his hard earned image and reputation. Though, Deacon Okafor is not worried by this latest plot as the good people of Okigwe South Federal Constituency and the general public truly appreciate his modest contributions in advancing the cause of effective representation, we advise these unscrupulous and devilish entities to desist from stoking the embers of discord, but rather channel their efforts to more useful ventures, as no amount of blackmail will deter Deacon Okafor from providing effective leadership to the good people of Okigwe South Federal Constituency.
