The Board of Trustee,BOT Chairman of Orluzurumee,Prof FC Dike,SAN who doubles as chairman of Orlu Elders Council of Orluzurumee, will on Sunday,February 2025 host the different leaderships of Orluzurumee at his residence in Owerri. Time is 2pm.
According to a chieftain of the apex Socio-cultural Group of Orlu people,who pleaded anonymity,the meeting is inline with the agreement of all the registered Orluzurumee groups to come together under one umbrella with a view of championing a common front and foastering unity among the people of the area.
“The group which has had some issues in the past leading to factionalization is set to relaunch itself.
“The meeting will be bringing leaders of the four different Corporate affairs Commission,CAC registered groups,namely;Orluzurumee Igwe Bu Ike,Orluzurumee People’s Assembly,Orluzurumee socio-cultural Group and Orluzurumee Youth Assembly to a round table discussion on the wayforward”.
