The Orlu Local Government Council Chairman, Hon. Christian Mbarie has offered free Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Examination registration to one hundred Indigent Students across thirteen wards and thirty five autonomous communities of Orlu LGA.
In a statement signed by him, he stated that the registration exercise is scheduled to hold on Friday January 31, 2025 at the Orlu Local Government Headquarters.
Mbarie reinstated that the initiative is part of his sustainable educational projects for the sons and daughters of Orlu Local Government Area and revealed plans to declare a state of emergency on the educational system in Orlu.
Furthermore, he promised to call a stakeholders meeting soonest in Orlu to chat the way forward for Girl child education and as well address poor enrollment of Orlu indigenes in public schools.
