Orluzurumee Youth Assembly has raised alarm over plots by desperate politicians from other zones to factionalize and destabilize Orluzurumee, the apex socio-cultural organization of the 12 Local Government Areas in Orlu zone, by setting up another parallel faction of the organization.
The group in a statement issued by its National President Comrade Thaddeus Emejuru, said, those behind the plot are working for a potential governorship aspirant from other zone who feels that his ambitions will be fruitless if he do not get the endorsement of Orlu zone. Hence, his group is bent on factionalizing and destabilizing the zone to enhance the actualization of their selfish political interests.
Orluzurumee Youth Assembly noted that these desperate politicians are working with a National Assembly member who also eyes deputizing the said governorship candidate or stand in for governorship election by 2027,adding that in due time,Orluzurumee Youth Assembly will expose those behind this plot and place them where they belong.
OYA revealed that they, through their intelligence gathering network, were able to sight an application made to the Corporate Affairs Commission, seeking to register another faction of Orluzurumee.
Comrade Emejuru, described the clandestine move as the height of ill-motivated desperation and insensitivity to the collective interest of Orlu zone and her people.
He regretted that Senator Osita\ Izunaso, representing Orlu zone, seems to have been lured into the despicable plot, which, according to him, is dead on arrival.
He wondered why any right thinking person would contemplate registering another faction of Orluzurumee, when the youths are making concerted efforts to unite the Chimee Nzeribe, Emeka Diwe and Reuben Okoro factions under one umbrella body, a feat that has almost been achieved.
The group vowed to resist the actualization of the ill-motivated plot which they described as an ill-wind that will ultimately blow no one good.
He called on Orlu people to ignore and disregard Mr Emmanuel Maduike and his group who according to him don’t wish Orlu zone and it’s people well.
“We know those behind the ugly plot and will expose them in no distant time”. It was gathered that those behind the registration of a rival Orluzurumee parent body used their Coordinators in the last election as Trustees.
