The remains of Chief Sir Ejike Uche, popularly called Dimkpasaa, 72, a former Deputy National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) and later, the Deputy National Chairman of the United Progressive Party (UPP) will be laid to rest in his Ndimoko, Arondizuogu country home by 1pm on December 6, 2024.

A burial arrangement released by his family indicates that there will be a wakekeep at his residence, Plot 846, Uratta Housing Estate, Owerri, the Imo state capital on December, 5, 2024.

His body will leave the mortuary by 8 am on December, 6, 2024 to the Arondizuogu Patriotic hall at Bishop’s Court, Ugwu Orji, in  Owerri North Local Government Area, from where it will go to the All Progressive Grand Alliance APGA State Secretariat along Mbaise Road by 8.30 am same day.

From the APGA state secretariat, the body will go back to his Plot 846 Uratta Housing Estate, Owerri residence by 9.00am.

Thereafter, his remains will depart for his Ndimoko, Arondizuogu country home by 9.30 am for lying-in state by 10.30 am. There will be  a requiem mass at St Andrew’s Catholic Parish, Ndimoko, Arondizuogu by 11am.

The political heavy weight, seasoned technocrat and graduate of the London School of Economics who was the deputy governorship candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance in the 2023 election will be interred immediately after the requiem mass.

A burial reception in his honour will hold at the Place Event Center, behind Greatwood Hotel, New Owerri on December, 7, 2024.
