Care Connect Humanitarian Foundation in line with its “Back to school” project recently visited some secondary schools in Mbaise, where they empowered over 2000 students who were also educated and sensitized on the importance of education and significance of menstrual hygiene among other issues.

The group distributed writing materials such as books, pens, sanitary pads among others to the students who were highly elated.

Some of the schools they visited are St Matthias Anglican Secondary School, Chokneze Technical Secondary School, Ahaiwe National Primary School, where the resource persons interacted with some of the beneficiaries of the Foundation’s scholarship program.

The Foundation used the occasion to sign documents to officially take over the financial responsibilities of Chizaran and Gabriella Ignatius Ogugua, children of Mr and Mrs Ignatius Ogugua, in the presence of Mrs Martha Alozie, the Proprietor of the school they attend at Umunachi, Umudim, Akpodim.

Some of those who spoke at the occasion commended the Chief Executive Officer of Foundation, Chibuike visionary, people-oriented leaders who should be appreciated by all pointing out that the noble initiative underscores Care Connect Humanitarian Foundation’s commitment to the welfare of underprivileged persons in the society.

Others who spoke in the same vein also lauded the Foundation’s Programme Manager, Enyinnaya Ezinwanne for Coordinating and organizing the project efficiently.

They expressed satisafaction with the enthusiasm and gratitude exhibited by the students and the appreciation the management of the schools according to them, attest to the positive outcomes of the project.
