His words “We found out that young people have lost interest in dignity of labour. Many of them don’t want to add value to the society. Some have lost focus and consistency. We resolved not to allow the values we grew up with to deteriorate, hence our desire to build up young people to remain focused in grooming the vision and remain consistent in the process.
“Steady Your Shot is a social impart project which started in 2021 as a skill acquisition programme of photography, media, videography and the likes which we have used to help ourselves, family and communities. Then this year we designed it to be a conference and training which was held on 7th of September, 2024 during which young emerging entrepreneurs connected with industry leaders and accomplished entrepreneurs who translated their vast knowledge and accumulated experiences to them.
“Steady Your Shot is our way of giving back to the society. We give free training to young people on digital skills. We often organise trainings for senior secondary school students and issue them certificates after successful completion of the trainings.
“This vision is now all encompassing, involving personal development and capacity building. As we build skills, we also build character and personality”.
Furthermore, the convener emphasized on some of the relevant lectures the students participated in during the training which focused on understanding the skills one possesses, bearing a vision, and converting the vision into a port folio.
