.…Says Onuimo Local Government Chairmanship Seat Not For Highest Bidder
The Traditional rulers, President Generals, Youth leaders of Umuduru Egbeaguru clan and the entire people of Onuimo Local Government Area of Imo State has endorsed Prince Ezeh Ndukauba J. for council chairman in the September 21st Imo LG election.
Speaking during the endorsement of Prince Ezeh Ndukauba J. for chairman of Onuimo Local Government Area, the chairman of Onuimo Council of Traditional rulers, HRH Eze C. N. Eze of Aboh Ikpa Autonomous Community with other Traditional rulers in Umuduru Egbeaguru clan like Eze Ralp Madu of Ofeahia Autonomous Community, Eze Jideofor Odoemenam of Okpuala Aboh Autonomous Community said that they decided to endorse Prince Ezeh Ndukauba for chairman of the council based on his track record excellence built upon his transparency and honesty in his dealings with fellow humans.
According to the Traditional rulers, “there is no Clan or communities without traditional rulers who form and lead the opinion of the Clan or communities, therefore Umuduru Egbeaguru have suffered marginalization both political and otherwise, we have bad roads, dilapidated electricity etc and we need someone who is close to the people, someone who is accessible, humble, lettered and someone that has the fear of God in him and we have searched among the aspirants jostling to get the APC chairmanship ticket and endorsed Prince Ezeh Ndukauba as we enjoined the well meaning people of Onuimo LGA, to look towards him for achieving a peaceful and a progressive environment where peace and unity will reign forever”.
The Traditionl rulers of Umuduru Egbeaguru clan used this great opportunity to appeal to His Excellency Dist. Sen. Hope Uzodinma to consider and grant them their request, pointing out that Umuduru Egbeaguru clan remains the only clans amongst the four in the area that have not gotten any juicy political position and appointment in Onuimo Local Government Area since the Governor came on board in 2020.
They expressed their belief that Prince Eze Ndukauba is the man who will help them to maintain their roads, electricity and will empower youths, restore peace and harmony and secure lives and Properties in Onuimo Local Government Area.
The three traditional rulers maintained that they are not politicians but their only interests is the welfare and wellbeing of Onuimo Local Government Area which they expressed belief and satisfaction that Prince Ezeh Ndukauba will not disappoint the Governor and the people if given the mandate.
Others who endorsed Prince Ezeh Ndukauba are the President Generals and Youth Presidents of the Umuduru Egbeaguru clan like Hon. Iloanya Henry, Youth President of Umuduru Egbeaguru clan, Aladu Obinna, Youth leader Ofeahia, Nwosu Friday, Okohia Autonomous Community, Onyemuche Ezealor Okpuala Aboh, youth leader and Uchendu Bright Chinonso, youth leader, Umuanumeze Autonomous Community.
The aforementioned youth leaders cautioned that ghost cabals to desist from causing problems in the Community and instead joined hands with them to support Prince Eze Ndukauba to emerge the next chairman of Onuimo Local Government Area.
Therefore the entire people of Umuduru Egbeaguru dissociates themselves from the endorsement of Harrison Ejianya and ask the genaral public to see it as null and void.
