The leader and stakeholders in Oru North Assembly in Oru West Local Government Area of Imo State have condemned the destruction of APC property belongings to a top Chairmanship contender, Chief Alphonsus Okike, his campaign bill boards and posters meant to promote the party in the Area.
Speaking to newsmen, shortly after, a stakeholders meeting, High Chief Stanley Ozo (Eze-ebunafo), who condemned the do or die action of some politicians in Oru West Local Government Area called on them to refrain from their evil actions and stop demarketing the Party.
Chief Ozo, explained that, the aspirations of Chief Okike is the overall interest of the Oru North Assembly and people of Oru West Local Government Area of Imo (with Five Wards) because he is poised to drive home the dividends of democracy to the grassroots based on transparency, fairness, accountability, efficiency and integrity.
He succinctly stated that, Chief Alphonsus Okike, has no contender as he is the best aspirant to beat in the September 21 Council election in the State as his two major challengers, the immediate Sole Administrator of Oru West Local Government Area, Ikenna Adikaibe is not supposed to contest because already his Ward has produced the IMHA Member for Oru West State Constitutiency, Hon. Barr. Dominic Ezerioha.
Accordingly, the former Interim Management Committee Chairman and Sole Administrator of the Council, Hon. Willie Okoliegwo has graciously served out for four years as ALGON Imo State Chairman. What else is he looking for in the Council.
Chief Stanley Ozo, pointed out that, the Governor Senator Hope Uzodimma, is a no nonsense man who will not condole evil as the destructions and demarketing of the State party property by the hoodlums associated to those contesting the APC Chairmanship Primary election with Chief Alphonsus Okike (Alpha) are not helping the party.
According to him, it’s only Chief Okike that has consulted the Leadership of the party in the 10 Wards and his presence visibly shown others have not.
Also Chief Okike, has remained one of the major financiers of the party in the past to have donated 200 pieces of Plastics rubber Chairs and 20 pieces of Plastics rubber Table and others, a legacy that has not been beaten by any other leader in the area.
Also in his Community Development Initiative, Chief Alphonsus Okike is not behind as he has remained formidable and important in his Community, donated Solar panel street lights, Fencing of Eleh Holy Family Catholic Church Parish , donations of Water Bole hole facility inside the Church and beyond he single handedly Dredge Miri Uche agwu Mgbidi Water flood.
“We will continue to condem evil “to call a spade a spade” it’s the turn of Oru North in Oru West Local Government Area to produce the Council Chairman as IMHA Member is in the other divide for peace to reign in the Area even our brother Willie Okoliegwo is not ligible for the election”.
What we said is that, he has been in the Council for four years let him go and rest and allow another person because “Nmanu Akara di uto onye ratu ibeya ratu”.
“We are calling on our amiable Governor Senator Hope Uzodimma Onwa Oyoko and our dynamic Party State Chairman, Dr MacDonald Ebere to caution those behind the dastard act of defacing and demarketing our Party in Oru West to desist, as currently, Four bill boards and posters of our Brother, Chief Alphonsus Okike has been destroyed”.
