A frontline chairmanship aspirant for the Aboh Local Government council election, Anacletus Ugwo, has expressed delight over the Supreme Court judgment that upheld Senator Hope Uzodinma as the duly elected Governor of Imo State in the November, 11, 2023 election.

Ugwo, while commending the judgment which he described as land mark, said, it affirms the Governor’s continued mandate to lead Imo State, reinforcing the will of the people. This marks the third time that Uzodinma has successfully defended his electoral win, cementing his position as a force to be reckoned with in Imo politics.

Anacletus Ugwo, who stated this, during a press briefing in Aboh Mbaise, applauded the Supreme Court’s ruling, describing it as a victory not only for the Governor but for the entire people of Imo State. He lauded Uzodinma’s resilience in the face of political and legal battles, attributing the governor’s success to his unwavering dedication to transforming the state.

“Governor Hope Uzodinma’s victory is not just a personal triumph but a testament to the fact that Imo State is on the right path. This hat-trick of victories at the courts is proof of divine endorsement and the will of the people. I have absolute confidence in his vision to drive Imo State toward progress, and I am excited about the future under his leadership,” Ugwo remarked.

Ugwo emphasized that Uzodinma’s administration has already laid a strong foundation in key areas such as infrastructure, security, and economic growth. He expressed his belief that this continued leadership would unlock even more opportunities for the state, particularly in local government areas like Aboh Mbaise, where Ugwo is vying for the chairmanship position.

“As an aspirant for the Aboh Mbaise LGA chairmanship in 2024, I am committed to aligning my leadership with the Governor’s vision of progress and development. Governor Uzodinma’s policies have already started bearing fruit, and I will ensure that, if elected, Aboh Mbaise will experience a significant transformation in areas such as healthcare, education, and job creation”, Ugwo added.

The Supreme Court’s decision has further solidified Uzodinma’s political standing ahead of the 2024 local government elections, galvanizing his supporters across the state. For aspirants like Anacletus Ugwo, this victory provides a solid platform to rally behind the Governor’s transformative agenda, reinforcing the unity within the party and energizing political allies.
