– Gets NUC Full Accreditation For 15 More Courses

Kingsley Ozumba Mbadiwe University, (KOMU) Ideato, in Imo State, has recorded another break through as the National University Commission (NUC) has granted full accreditation to 15 more courses.

Speaking on the development recently, the highly elated Vice Chancellor of the institution, Prof INS Dozie, expressed optimism that other courses that currently have interim accreditation, will in no distant time have full accreditation, pointing out that the management is committed to and working assiduously towards making KOMU of the best citadels of learning in the country.

He commended the State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodinma for his support encouragement and creation of enabling environment that made it possible for the university to achieve the much it has within a very short time.

He also commended that students, staff and management for their efforts and contributions towards achieving set goals and objectives.

The fifteen courses that were granted full accreditation by the NUC, are, “English and Literary Studies, History and International Studies, Linguistics, Animal & Environmental Biology, Biochemistry, Computer Science, Microbiology, Physics, Accounting, Banking & Finance, Business Administration, Economic, Political Science, Psychology and Sociology”.
