It was a joyful moment for the entire communities in Oguta Local Government Area of Imo State on Monday July 15th,2024 as women and youths across all the political blocs of the Council accompanied a frontline philanthropist,Hon. Oscar Chima Ukemezie to purchase the ruling All Progressives Congress,APC Chairmanship Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms in Owerri, the capital city of the State.
Ukemezie who hails from Uba-Agwa clan was adjudged to be the best among those jostling to occupy the number one seat of Oguta LGA come September 21st,2024 Imo LGs election following his administrative prowess in private sector, philanthropic gestures and youthful age which remain the focal point of efficiency and productivity in every administration.
Recall that Hon. Ukemezie had earlier electrified parts of Oguta communities by installing solar lights system on the cardinal streets as well as paying West African Senior School Certificate Examination,WASSCE fees for hundreds of Oguta indigenous students.
As a party loyalist,Hon. Ukemezie (JP) on Tuesday 16th July,2024 took his Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms to the APC Chairman of Oguta LGA,Hon. Chuks Ugboma for onwards campaign strategies and due consultation of party stakeholders.
Indeed,the forthcoming Chairmanship and Councillorship elections in the 27 Local Government Areas of Imo State would be a great opportunity for the people of Oguta to elect Hon. Oscar Chima Ukemezie their Chairman for overall benefits of women and youths.
Hon Ukemezie as one of the contestants from Agwa Clan where executive chairmanship position ought to be shifted to hence the other political bloc of Oguta is currently occupying Imo House of Assembly seat is an entrepreneur of repute who is ready to take Oguta people to “promise land”.
Speaking,Hon. Oscar Chima Ukemezie insisted that he possesses all the needed requirements to become Oguta Executive Chairman,soliciting for support of the LGA APC Chairman to enable him emerge the Party flagbearer.
Hon. Ukemezie assured the Party Chairman of his capacity to bring back victory to APC if elected the Party flagbearer during the primary election.
He declared hundred percent prepared for the election both monetary and mobilization strategies.

Responding, the Chairman of All Progressives Congress, Oguta LGA,Hon. Chucks Ogbuma who was overwhelmed with joy to see one of his friends coming to show him his Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms thanked the Chairmanship hopeful for his sagacity and positivity for being among the first set of aspirants to purchase the forms and encouraged him to use the same zeal to campaign vigorously for the election as the election is expected to be free and fair posture.
