The last may not have been ahead about the worsening insecurity in Imo State, as dare devil gunmen murdered a Port Harcourt based lawyer in his home town, Orodo, in Mbaitoli Local Government Area of Imo State.

He will reportedly be laid to rest on Wednesday, April, 10.
A man who commented on the development said, “this incident which to all intends and purposes is not only unfortunate but debilitating, negates the claim by the Imo State government and its officials that insecurity in the state, has been nipped in the bud, as the people of Obinze, Avu, Ihigawa, Umuguma have been narrating their tales of woe in the hands of kidnappers and rapists suspected to be Fulani herdsmen and their collaborators, who are also suspected to be security operatives residing in the area”.
Announcing his demise on his official BarristerNG, a friend of the late lawyer, Chukwuemeka Mbamala, said: ”Garricks Anyanwu was my classmate at Enugu State University of Science and Technology, Enugu, a class of 2003 set.
