A top politician from Owerri zone who commented on the development which he described as sad stated that, Uzodinma has started showing what he has in stock for the people of Owerri and Okigwe zones. He berated the leaders of the two zones for allowing themselves to be used as pawns in the Governor’s chess board.
He further stated that Governor Uzodinma, “having allegedly “settled” them to actualize his second term ambition does not owe any of them apology for whatever he does or decides to do in the next four years because one cannot eat his cake and still have it”.
That nine out of the 12 names he sent to the House of Assembly are from Orlu zone, while two are from Owerri zone and one from Okigwe zone is a very bold statement that does not need explanation”.
