…As Kinsmen Hail Ikenga For Transparency
March 26, 2024, was historic for people of Ideato Federal Constituency as the constituents bore witness to a new standard in leadership characterized by transparency and honesty.
Barrister Ikenga Imo Ugochinyere, their Representative Member, not only empowered numerous individuals within Ideato but also oversaw the distribution of Federal Government Palliatives to all residents of the Ideato nation.
The distribution process, meticulously organized, reached every corner of Ideato, transcending political affiliations and biases. Various segments of the community, including political parties, traditional institutions, religious bodies, market associations, youth and women groups, as well as different organizations and communities, received essential food items such as rice, beans and other items based on their population size.
Select youths were further empowered with mini-buses, tricycles and motorcycles.
The people of Ideato, deeply satisfied with the fairness and integrity of the distribution, lauded Ikenga’s exceptional leadership qualities, highlighting his unprecedented levels of honesty, transparency, fairness, equity, and impartiality, qualities rarely seen in some previous leaders of Ideato.
Grateful beneficiaries expressed their appreciation to Ikenga for embodying the traits of a compassionate leader, particularly during challenging economic times affecting many Nigerian households.
During the event, Mr. Peter Ogbenna, representing the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security, commended Ikenga for involving the ministry in the distribution process, emphasizing the transparency and adherence to due process.
In his address to the people of Ideato, Ikenga reassured them of his commitment to fulfilling his campaign promises, going above and beyond to elevate the Ideato nation. He acknowledged those already empowered and employed through his efforts, urging patience from others while promising inclusive benefits from his impactful leadership.
Hon. Ugochinyere reiterated his dedication to improving the lives of Ideato Federal Constituency through legislative actions, interventions, and advocacy for the betterment of the community.
