The National Executive Council of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP, has constituted a Caretaker Committee for the Anambra State chapter of the party.
The Zonal Publicity Secretary (Southeast zone) of the party, Engr Augustine Elochukwu Okeke who disclosed this in a release he issued, dated January, 17, 2024, said, “The National Organising Secretary of PDP, Hon. Umar M. Bature, vide a statement he personally signed on January 17, 2024 communicated that the National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has, on behalf of the National Executive Committee (NEC), pursuant to Sections 29(2)(b) and 31(2)(e) of the Constitution of the PDP (as amended in 2017), approved the composition of Anambra State Caretaker Committee to run the affairs of the Anambra State Chapter of the Party for a period not exceeding 90 days (3 months)”.
Members of the newly constituted Caretaker Committee are, “Engr. Chigozie Igwe – Chairman, Chukwudi Innocent Nweke – Member, Ezinne Patricia Uju Onyia – Member, Barr. Onuigbo Ndubuisi – Member, Barr. Ikechukwu Chukwudelu – Member, Chukwudi Okoye – Member, Hon. Chief Ezeobi Okpala – Member, Cmr. Okey Asolo – Member, Barr. Jude Oguejiofor – Member, Hon. Echezona Agba – Member, Promise Okongwu – Member, Dr. Obumneme Nnoli – Member, Hon. Remignu Okeke – Member, Ebere Onukwo – Member, Williams Obiora – Member, Ndu Ikokwu – Member, Barr. Ugochukwu Adileje – Member, Onyeka Okeke – Member, Nze Nath Uforali – Member, Dr. I.G. Ngini – Member, Barr. Clem Ezika – Member/Secretary”.
