The Imo State November 11, 2023 governorship election may seem far away but pundits know that only those who prepare well for a journey get there in record time and with wonderful results to show for it.
Among the top contenders for the election are Senator Samuel Anyanwu otherwise known as Samdaddy of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Governor Hope Uzodimma of the All Progressive Congress, APC, Senator Athan Achonu of Labour Party, LP, and Ikenga Johnjude Okere of the Accord, A. .
It was reliably gathered from grapevines that Ikenga JohnJude has a lot of positive plans for the state which included but not limited to massive infrastructural campaign, rural and urban development, economic recovery, sports, entertainment and tourism invigoration, health, education and agricultural revolution as well as pension and social security services. He has pledged to improve the working conditions of the civil services.
Ikenga in a recent interview stated that he is very much aware that in politics there must be contests and that was why he got himself well prepared in order to ensure victory and subsequently deliver.
He urged Imolites not to live in fear, but with boldness come out enmasse on the 11th of November and cast their vote for him as he won’t relent in using his wealth of experience wisely when he emerges.
Ikenga JohnJude promised that with him piloting the affairs of Imo as the number one citizen he would make Imo safe again, ensure that perpetrators of insecurity were apprehended and meant to face the full weight of the law.
Continuing, he noted that his government would have a human face even he would not play down due process, accountability and transparency.
