A Canadian based physician, Dr. Emmanuel Ogueri has revealed why he endorsed the re-election bid of the Imo state Governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma.
Dr. Ogueri, in a statement he issued, maintained that the Governor should be re-elected because of his unrivaled commitment and capacity needed to transform the state.
He expressed belief that Governor Uzodimma has a lot of good works to do in the state, adding that if re-elected in November 11 gubernatorial election, he will consolidate on and surpass the achievements he has recorded so far.
According to the Okohia, Isiala Mbano born medical doctor and politician, “If you look around the state, you will see the wonders of the people’s Governor. We have never seen it like this before. No one across the state will tell you that he or she has not benefited from these laudable achievements of the Governor. So, why should we change the goalpost in the middle of the game? Indeed one good turn deserves another”, he said.
Ogueri insisted that what the state needs is someone who has the interest of the Imo people at heart and also someone who has the requisite experience to transform the state from what he described as fixed-believe to an improved-believe. According to him, Gov. Hope Uzodimma is uniquely endowed with these qualities.
He further urged the good people of the State to rally round and vote for Governor Hope Uzodimma on the November 11 gubernatorial election to enable him continue with his good works of transforming the state.
