– Insists, “no vacancy in Douglas House”
Ahead of the governorship election scheduled to hold in Imo State, November, 11, 2023, a frontline politician in the state Hon Chinedu Mbakwe Obi has expressed confidence that Governor Hope Uzodinma, the candidate of the All Progressive Congress APC, will emerge victorious.
Obi, who is also the General Manager, Imo State Housing Corporation stated this while interacting with newsmen who came to his office on a fact finding mission stated that over ninety-five percent of discerning Imo people and residents have thrown their weight behind the Governor’s re-election bid because of the land mark achievements he has recorded within his first 4-year tenure.
Barr Mbakwe Obi further posited that, “Gov. Uzodinma is the best governor in Nigeria His good works attest to that. That is why over 95% of Imo people are strongly behind him. There is no vacancy in Douglas House. Even the opposition knows that”.
The Ideato born politician who stormed the Dan Anyiam Stadium venue of the APC governorship campaign flag off with over five hundred members of his support group insisted that there is no vacancy in Douglas House, adding that the party will prosecute the Governor’s re-election with team spirit and unity of purpose.
