“GROUNDGAME FOR HOPE (GGH)”

Chief technical adviser to Governor Hope Uzodinma on Imo Project and founder of the largest APC support group in Nigeria, chief Jerry Chukwueke, has said that a vote for Uzodimma in the November 11 governorship election is a vote for Owerri Zone in the state.
He made the declaration recently at a meeting with farmers, artisans, members of the opposition, housewives and community leaders in Orji Ward.?, Owerri North Local Government or the state.
Chukwueke said the message of Imo Charter of Equity must permeate to the grassroots for maximum impact in the coming gubernatorial election.
This, he said necessitated the formation of “GROUNDGAME FOR HOPE”.
Ohamadike Chukwueke acquainted the critical voting public that Uzodimma remains the best governor in the history of Imo State.
Uratta, he said, is one of the greatest beneficiaries of Uzodimma transformational projects. He gave interesting details on why Umundula-Orji was chosen as the first venue of the ward tour. According to the great mobilizer, the road from Toronto Junction to Orji roundabout passes through Umundula-Orji, even as he informed that the village is the host of Orji Health Centre 1, and seats at the crossroads of Orji and Obibi Ward 2 and perhaps have the highest concentration of polling units in Orji Ward.
He asserted that Uzodinma is the vision bearer of Imo Charter of Equity and has the capability and sincerity to implement the agreement, reminding the people of Owerri Zone that zoning power to Owerri, comes with the RESPONSIBILITY to ensure UZODIMMA is overwhelmingly victorious in the zone, because anything otherwise has the tendency to affect Owerri Zone’s quest for the seat of governor of the state.
Ohamadike used the opportunity to appeal to the teeming youths of Owerri North LGA and indeed the entire state to identify with the many government youth empowerment programmes like the “skill up Imo” project and shun the invite to the banquet of violence which results in sorrow, tears and blood.
Chief Chukwueke started his Orji visit with a courtesy call on Prince Lemmy Akakem, the deputy chairman of Imo Council of Elders who prayed for him and declared his support for his endeavour to ensure an Uzodimma victory at the polls.
The high point of the meeting was the distribution of fliers, each containing a compendium of Uzodimma’s landmark achievements, and two thousand naira as logistics to over 250 PVC holders who attended the meeting and properly identified along polling units.
Leaders who graced the occasion included the president-general of Orji Autonomous Community, Leo Oguike, the LGA secretary of APC; Larry Oparah; Hon Chima Okoroafor LGA publicity secretary; Hon Obinna Nkwo; Orji Ward chairman Ikechukwu Anozie; and ward secretary Dan Asoluka.
Others were Mazi Dennis Okoroafor, lady Ngozi Ohaka, Hon Emma Nnadi, Orji GLO Sunny Chibundu, Chief Okey Egenamba, Chief Monday Onyeneke JP, Orji emeritus Councilor and the coordinator GROUNDGAME FOR HOPE in Orji Ward among others.
