The ambition of Hon Uche Odunzeh of the New Nigeria Peoples Party to become the next Governor of Imo State, has received a boost, as a group known as Imo Youth Liberation Movement on Monday, has endorsed his candidacy.
The group, in a statement signed by the President, Comrade Substance Chukwulata and Secretary, Comrade James Ochuma said, “After careful consideration, we have chosen to unite with Hon Odunzeh the gubernatorial Candidate of the NNPP as we firmly believe that his candidacy represents the aspiration and hopes of the youths in the state”.
“With this endorsement, we are committed to working diligently alongside Hon. Odunzeh and the NNPP to bring about transformative change that will empower and uplift the youths of Imo state”.
They called on the Imo electorate to support and throw their weight behind the governorship candidate of the NNPP who they described as the best choice for the job at stake.
“We therefore invite all Imo indigenes and residents to join us in this historic journey, as we strive to secure a brighter future for our state and ensure the enthronement of a youthful, progressive, focused and people-oriented leadership that will restore the lost glory of our dear state”.
